Inleiding
Hoofd- c.q. pompgebouw van een voormalige waterzuiveringsinstallatie uit 1939.
Omschrijving
Het in Vlaams verband gemetselde pand is opgetrokken op samengestelde plattegrond en telt één bouwlaag onder een plat dak. Het pand bestaat uit een rechthoek met aan de voor- en de rechter zijde een lagere uitbouw. Het gebouw is ten dele onderkelderd. Tenzij anders vermeld zijn de vensters uitgevoerd in staal. Bij de rechthoek loopt de daklijst niet door tot op de hoeken, hier is het metselwerk hoger opgetrokken en steekt boven het dak uit.
De VOORGEVEL van de uitbouw aan de voorzijde heeft een venster, dat omloopt over de zijgevels. Het venster is in de voorgevel nu 3-ruits (was 6-ruits) en in de zijgevel 2-ruits (was 4-ruits). De voorgevel van de rechter uitbouw heeft drie 4-ruits vensters.
De LINKER ZIJGEVEL heeft links drie 6-ruits vensters, rechts een rond 4-ruits venster.
De ACHTERGEVEL heeft in de uitbouw twee stalen deuren, de rechter met zijlicht. Rechts heeft de gevel een gewijzigde deur.
De RECHTER ZIJGEVEL heeft in de hoofdbouw een stalen rondboogdeur, in de uitbouw twee 4-ruits vensters.
Het INTERIEUR is deels uitgevoerd in schoon metselwerk, deels voorzien van een lambrizering van crèmekleurige tegels met een zwarte band. De vloer is belegd met grijze tegels met een zwarte band. In de hoge kelder staat nog een restant van de pompen.
Waardering
Hoofd- c.q. pompgebouw van een voormalige waterzuiveringsinstallatie uit 1939.
- Van architectuurhistorische waarde als goed en redelijk gaaf bewaard voorbeeld van een industrieel gebouw in de stijl van het Nieuwe Bouwen, gebouwd midden in een bij uitstek agrarisch buitengebied. Het gebouw is een goed voorbeeld van een functionele en/of typologische ontwikkeling.
- Het object heeft een ensemblewaarde als onderdeel van de waterzuiveringsinstallatie.

Description
The building, built in Flemish bond, is constructed on a composite ground plan and comprises one storey beneath a flat roof. The building consists of a rectangle with a lower extension on the front and right side. The building is partly cellared. Unless otherwise stated, the windows are executed in steel. At the rectangle, the cornice does not continue to the corners; here the brickwork is built higher and projects above the roof.
The FRONT FACADE of the front extension has a window that runs across the side facades. The window in the front facade is now 3-pane (was 6-pane) and in the side facade 2-pane (was 4-pane). The front facade of the right extension has three 4-pane windows.
The LEFT SIDE FACADE has on the left three 6-pane windows, on the right a round 4-pane window.
The REAR FACADE has in the extension two steel doors, the right one with sidelight. On the right the facade has a modified door.
The RIGHT SIDE FACADE has in the main building a steel round-arch door, in the extension two 4-pane windows.
The INTERIOR is partly executed in fair-faced brickwork, partly fitted with cream-coloured tile cladding with a black band. The floor is laid with grey tiles with a black band. In the high cellar there is still a remnant of the pumps.
