Omschrijving onderdeel 1: HOOFDGEBOUW.
Het hoofdgebouw is gelegen in de zuidoost hoek van een eiland dat aan drie zijden wordt omgeven door een gracht en aan de oostzijde door de Grift. Het bestaat uit een kelderverdieping, een begane grond en schilddaken met schoorstenen. De in oorsprong achttiende eeuwse vijf traveeën brede voorgevel is gepleisterd en wordt door pilasters geleed, die de kroonlijst dragen. Het attiek is bij de restauratie opnieuw aangebracht. De drie middelste traveeën zijn verhoogd tot een verdieping. In de middelste travee bevindt zich de toegangsdeur met daarboven een balkom en ervoor een bordestrap. De vensters bevatten negentiende eeuwse roedeverdeelde schuiframen. De beide zijgevels zijn eveneens gepleisterd, de linker zijgevel is nagenoeg blind, de rechter vertoont een onregelmatige vensterindeling. In de bakstenen achtergevel komt het heterogene karakter van het huis tot uiting. Duidelijk zijn de twee ten opzichte van elkaar verspringende bouwdelen te zien. In het rechter deel de jaartalankers 1633. Ook hier bevinden zich roedeverdeelde schuiframen. In het inwendige van het huis wordt nog steeds het hoogteverschil tussen de vloeren aangetroffen als gevolg van de ontstaansgeschiedenis van een viertal bouwdelen. Boven de begane grond van het oudste deel zijn de balkagen nog aanwezig. Een ander opvallend element is de monumentale gang op de begane grond.

Description component 1: MAIN BUILDING.
The main building is situated in the south-east corner of an island surrounded on three sides by a moat and on the east side by the Grift. It consists of a basement floor, a ground floor and hipped roofs with chimneys. The originally eighteenth-century five-bay wide front facade is plastered and divided by pilasters which carry the cornice. The attic was reinstated during the restoration. The three central bays are raised to an upper floor. In the central bay is the entrance door with above it a balcony and in front of it a steps. The windows contain nineteenth-century sash windows with glazing bars. Both side facades are likewise plastered, the left side facade is almost blank, the right shows an irregular window arrangement. In the brick rear facade the heterogeneous character of the building becomes apparent. Clearly visible are the two building sections offset relative to each other. In the right section date anchors 1633. Here too are sash windows with glazing bars. Inside the building the height difference between the floors is still encountered as a result of the building history of four building sections. Above the ground floor of the oldest section the beam layers are still present. Another striking element is the monumental corridor on the ground floor.
