Omschrijving onderdeel 17.
Op de westparterre staan twee achttiende-eeuwse TUINBEELDEN van vrouwenfiguren op een rechthoekige, met festoenen versierde natuurstenen sokkel (identiek aan onderdeel nummer 18). de vrouwenfiguur aan de noordkant heeft een buidel in haar linkerhand en een kinderfiguurtje dat reikt naar haar rechterhand (Vanitasfiguur). Waarschijnlijk zijn de beelden ten tijde van de wijzigingen in de tuinaanleg door Poortman aangekocht en op deze plaats neergezet.

Description of component 17.
On the west parterre stand two eighteenth-century GARDEN STATUES of female figures on a rectangular, festoon-decorated natural stone base (identical to component number 18). The female figure on the north side has a pouch in her left hand and a small child figure reaching towards her right hand (Vanitas figure). The statues were probably purchased at the time of the modifications to the garden layout by Poortman and placed in this location.
