ad a.: the house island is surrounded by a broad square moat, over which two new bridges run along the central axis of the house; the design of the garden area on the front (north) side of the house is new; on the rear side a nineteenth-century landscaped design is still to be found: a large lawn with surrounding marginal planting of shrubs, rhododendrons and old trees, including a red beech; the vegetable garden and orchard were formerly located behind the house as well (old photographs show a grape house that was built against the rear facade); remnants of old beech hedges.

ad b.: the former approach drive along the central axis has disappeared and been replaced by a new access drive, which comes from the village (west) and ends at the entrance gate. The drive is planted with a few rows of young lime trees; clinker surfacing with fieldstone along the edges. The east wood, XVIII, is a large more or less square plot to the east of the east lane; it is further bounded by the Hunzeweg, the Hanekamp and the eastern extension of the crosslane; here too old deciduous timber with undergrowth and footpaths in a landscaped pattern; more or less in line with the south facade of the house lies a longitudinal pond with rounded corners in this wood; the triangle formed by the diagonal lane, the Hunzeweg and the Hanekamp is a meadow bordered by a hedge of shrubs.

ad d.: visually and landscape-important buffers for the perception of the country seat are: the green space with old oaks between the forecourt and the church, and the plot with young woodland adjoining the south side of the east wood.
