Inleiding.
Aan de zuidoostelijke zijde van de kortgevelboerderij "De Geldersche Hoeve' staat,met de nokas parallel aan de boerderij, een SCHUUR annex VARKENSSTAL, daterende uit omstreeks 1910.
Omschrijving.
De eenlaags schuur heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond en wordt gedekt door een zadeldak met muldenpannen. De bakstenen gevels zijn voorzien van zware smeedijzeren steekankers. In de oostelijke zijde van de noordelijke gevel bevindt zich een paar hoge, opgeklampte, tweedelige deeldeuren. De bovenste geven toegang tot de taszolder, de onderste tot de schuur. In de gevel verder enkele opgeklampte varkenspoortjes.
Waardering.
De schuur is van algemeen belang. Het object heeft cultuur-historisch belang als voorbeeld van de sociaal-economische ontwikkeling van de landbouw in de Kempen en als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van de boerderij in het interbellum. Het geheel is belangrijk vanwege de gaafheid van het exterieur en is als voorbeeld van een gave ontginningsboerderij uit het interbellum zeldzaam.

Introduction.
On the south-eastern side of the cornice-topped farmhouse "De Geldersche Hoeve" stands, with its ridge parallel to the farmhouse, a BARN AND PIG STY, dating from around 1910.
Description.
The single-storey barn has a rectangular floor plan and is covered by a gabled roof with half-round tiles. The brick gables are provided with heavy wrought-iron wall anchors. In the eastern side of the northern gable is a pair of high, clamped, two-part divided doors. The upper ones provide access to the hay loft, the lower ones to the barn. In the gable further some clamped pig gates.
Valuation.
The barn is of general importance. The object has cultural-historical importance as an example of the socio-economic development of agriculture in the Kempen and as an example of the typological development of the farmhouse in the interwar period. The whole is important because of the integrity of its exterior and as an example of an intact reclaimed-land farmhouse from the interwar period it is rare.
