Omschrijving
BOERENERF. Oorspronkelijk en traditioneel ingericht eind-19de- vroeg-20ste-eeuws boerenerf met boomgaard, boerentuin en ganzenweide. Aan wegzijde afgezet door meidoorn- en beukenhagen. Op het erf enkele hoogopgaande bomen; daaronder rode beuk en (oude) linden. In de boomgaard enige hoogstam fruitbomen (oude rassen). Het achtererf gedeeltelijk bestraat met keien (flinten. Eveneens op het erf een welwaterput uit 1863(diam. 80 cm) met bakstenen schacht (oorspronkelijk met loden leiding) en granieten afdekplaat.

BOERENERF van algemeen belang wegens:
- voor de geschiedenis van het Drentse boerenerf;
- wegens samenstelling en inrichting;
- als functioneel onderdeel van een traditioneel Drents boerderijcomplex;

Description
FARMYARD. Originally and traditionally laid out late-19th early-20th-century farmyard with orchard, vegetable garden and goose pasture. Along the road side bounded by hawthorn and beech hedges. On the yard several tall trees; among them red beech and (old) lindens. In the orchard some tall-stem fruit trees (old varieties). The rear yard partly paved with flint stones. Also on the yard a well for water from 1863 (diameter 80 cm) with brick shaft (originally with lead pipe) and granite cover plate.

FARMYARD of general importance on account of:
- the history of the Drents farmyard;
- its composition and layout;
- as a functional component of a traditional Drents farmyard complex;
- as a visual and landscape-binding factor;
- on account of the prominent location at the Oranjekanaal.
