Omschrijving
BOERDERIJ van het hallenhuis type uit 1863 met langsdeel en achterbaander, opgetrokken uit bruinrode baksteen op plint en gedekt door een aan beide zijden afgewolfd rieten schilddak met twee nokschoorstenen; verbreding van de koestal onder blauwe pannen; geschulpte windveren. De voorgevel is symmetrisch ingedeeld door een dubbele paneeldeur met bovenlicht waarin gietijzeren levensboom; aan weerszijden twee zesruitsramen; drie tweeruits zolderramen. In de linkerzijgevel (oost) vier zesruitsramen, waarvan de linker boven het kleine drieruits kelderraam iets korter. In de rechterzijgevel (west) vier zesruitsramen en een opgeklampte deur met vierruits bovenlicht. Alle ramen en deuren lichtgetoogd en voorzien van 11/2 steens hanenkammen. Aan weerszijden van de voordeur een gedenksteentje met respectievelijk het opschrift: H. Sikken en T. Horring 1863. In het INTERIEUR zijn ondermeer van belang de nagenoeg oorspronkelijke plattegrond (centrale middengang met aan westzijde de woonvertrekken en de keuken en aan oostzijde de slaapvertrekken) en de kleurig betegelde schoorsteenmantels in Art Deco stijl. STALGEDEELTE. In het aan beide zijden uitspringende stalgedeelte een opgeklampte deur met tweeruitsbovenlicht en tweeruitsvenster in de linkervoorgevel en vier halfronde stalvensters met vorktracering in de linkerzijgevel; in de (jongere) rechtervoorgevel een lichtgetoogd zesruitsraam (deur en stalraam niet-oorspronkelijk) en vijf lichtgetoogde gietijzeren stalvensters tussen even uitgemetselde steunbeertjes in de (jongere) rechterzijgevel; in de achtergevel van links naar rechts twee staldeuren, lichtgetoogde dubbele inrijdeuren met mendeur en vierruits bovenlicht, staldeur met tweeruits bovenlicht, rechtgesloten dubbele inrijdeuren met mendeur en staldeur; drie tweeruits zolderramen. Geschulpte windveren; ijzeren muurankers (schieters.) In het INTERIEUR zijn ondermeer van belang de nagenoeg oorspronkelijke indeling (deel met lemen vloer, potstal, koestal met grup, paardenstal met houten schot, kalverruimte, karnhok en diepe aardappelkelder); voorts het dekbalkgebint met pen en gat verbinding, de bevloerde ruimte boven het woongedeelte, de houten scheidingswanden en de koperen pomp.

FARM of the hall-house type from 1863 with longitudinal section and rear lean-to, built from brown-red brick on a plinth and covered by a hipped roof thatched on both sides with two ridge chimneys; extension of the cowshed under blue tiles; shaped wind vanes. The front facade is symmetrically arranged by a double panelled door with fanlight containing a cast-iron tree of life; on either side two six-pane windows; three two-pane attic windows. In the left side facade (east) four six-pane windows, of which the left one above the small three-pane cellar window is slightly shorter. In the right side facade (west) four six-pane windows and a clamped door with four-pane fanlight. All windows and doors with stone mullions and fitted with 1½ brick decorative ridge tiles. On either side of the front door a commemorative stone respectively inscribed: H. Sikken and T. Horring 1863. In the INTERIOR, among other things of importance are the nearly original floor plan (central passage with living rooms and kitchen on the west side and bedrooms on the east side) and the colourfully tiled chimney breasts in Art Deco style. STABLE SECTION. In the stable section projecting on both sides a clamped door with two-pane fanlight and two-pane window in the left front facade and four semi-circular stable windows with fork tracery in the left side facade; in the (later) right front facade a stone-mullioned six-pane window (door and stable window not original) and five stone-mullioned cast-iron stable windows between equally built buttresses in the (later) right side facade; in the back facade from left to right two stable doors, stone-mullioned double entrance doors with split door and four-pane fanlight, stable door with two-pane fanlight, right-closed double entrance doors with split door and stable door; three two-pane attic windows. Shaped wind vanes; iron wall anchors (shooters). In the INTERIOR, among other things of importance are the nearly original layout (section with clay floor, pit stall, cowshed with gutter, horse stable with wooden partition, calf space, churn room and deep potato cellar); furthermore the tie-beam truss with mortise and tenon joints, the boarded space above the residential section, the wooden partition walls and the copper pump.
