Rode gevlekt zandstenen HERINNERINGSBANK op een hardstenen voet. De bank is ontworpen door de Apeldoornse kunstenaar Pieter Puype (1874-1942) en gesigneerd op de bronzen plaquette 'P. Puype fecit'. De bronzen plaat draagt het borstbeeld van M. Van Wijhee met daaronder de tekst 'M. v. Wijhee Fzn * 16.3.1868 10.12.1932 / oud dir. v/d Stichting Hoenderloo / Weth. der gemeente Apeldoorn / onthuld 19 mei 1934 / van zijnen jongens en vrienden'.

Red spotted sandstone MEMORIAL BENCH on a hardstone base. The bench was designed by Apeldoorn artist Pieter Puype (1874-1942) and signed on the bronze plaque 'P. Puype fecit'. The bronze plate bears the portrait bust of M. Van Wijhee with below the text 'M. v. Wijhee Fzn * 16.3.1868 10.12.1932 / former director of the Hoenderloo Foundation / Alderman of the municipality of Apeldoorn / unveiled 19 May 1934 / by his boys and friends'.
