Omschrijving
In het noordelijk deel van het park bevindt zich een hardstenen HERINNERINGSBANK uit 1892, ontworpen in neorenaissancestijl. De bank heeft aan de voorzijde een witmarmeren plaat met inscriptie 'Ter herinnering aan den stichter van het Oranjepark. H.C. van der Houven van Oordt opgedragen door de Vereeniging tot veraangenaming van het verblijf'. Ten zuiden van deze bank is in 1960 een verzetsmonument van de Amsterdamse beeldhouwer Hund geplaatst, dat de verwaarloosde en vervallen muziektent uit 1881 verving.

Description
In the northern part of the park there is a hardstone MEMORIAL BENCH from 1892, designed in neo-Renaissance style. The bench has on its front a white marble plate with the inscription 'In memory of the founder of Oranjepark. H.C. van der Houven van Oordt dedicated by the Association for the improvement of the stay'. South of this bench, a resistance monument by Amsterdam sculptor Hund was placed in 1960, which replaced the neglected and dilapidated bandstand from 1881.
