Inleiding
Vrijstaand KOETSHUIS ook wel aangeduid als "schuur", gelegen aan de zuidzijde van de Amersfoortseweg nabij de kruising met de toegangslaan tot Paleis Het Loo. Het object is gebouwd in 1906 als bijgebouw bij de dienstwoning voor de opperhoutvester van Het Loo. Het gebouw is in een traditionele vorm gebouwd en sluit in materiaalgebruik aan bij het hoofdgebouw.
Omschrijving
Het in kruisverband gemetselde, bakstenen KOETSHUIS is opgetrokken op rechthoekige grondslag, met een uitbouw tegen de rechter zijgevel, en telt één bouwlaag onder een met gesmoorde tuiles du Nord gedekt dak met aan de voorzijde een wolfeind en aan de achterzijde een schild. Het rechter dakvlak is doorgetrokken over de uitbouw. De gevels zijn, op een plint, speklagen en ontlastingsbogen na, geheel gepleisterd en wit geschilderd.
De symmetrisch ingedeelde VOORGEVEL heeft in het midden een dubbele deur, elk met een 3-ruits glaspaneel. Links en rechts een getoogd 12-ruits gietijzeren venster. Deuren en vensters worden ontlast door een segmentboog, bij de vensters steens, bij de deuren anderhalf steens. De verdieping heeft een hooiluik. De voorgevel van de uitbouw heeft een meerruits halfrond gietijzeren stalraam. De LINKER ZIJGEVEL is blind.
De ACHTERGEVEL heeft in het midden een deur met bovenlicht en links daarvan een meerruits halfrond gietijzeren stalraam. De RECHTER ZIJGEVEL bevat in de uitbouw een deurpartij.

Het gebouw sluit in detaillering aan bij de onder invloed van de Chaletstijl vormgegeven gevels van het hoofdgebouw, maar heeft een meer traditioneel uiterlijk. Samen met de villa vormt dit bijgebouw een belangrijk ensemble.
- Van stedebouwkundige waarde door de situering op de kruising met de Loolaan en de laan naar Paleis Het Loo. Detached COACH HOUSE also referred to as "barn", situated on the south side of the Amersfoortseweg near the intersection with the access lane to Paleis Het Loo. The building was constructed in 1906 as an outbuilding associated with the service dwelling for the chief forester of Het Loo. The building was erected in a traditional form and corresponds in material use to the main building.
Description
The brick COACH HOUSE, laid in alternating bond, is erected on a rectangular ground plan, with an outbuilding against the right side facade, and comprises one storey under a roof covered with smoked tuiles du Nord with a half-hipped end on the front and a hipped roof on the rear. The right roof plane is continued over the outbuilding. The facades are, except for a plinth, ashlar courses and relieving arches, entirely plastered and painted white.
The symmetrically arranged FRONT FACADE has in the centre a double door, each with a 3-pane glass panel. On the left and right an arched 12-pane cast-iron window. Doors and windows are relieved by a segmental arch, at the windows one stone thick, at the doors one-and-a-half stones. The upper floor has a hayloft opening. The front facade of the outbuilding has a multi-pane semi-circular cast-iron stable window. The LEFT SIDE FACADE is blank.
The REAR FACADE has in the centre a door with fanlight and to the left of it a multi-pane semi-circular cast-iron stable window. The RIGHT SIDE FACADE contains in the outbuilding a door arrangement.

- Of architectural-historical value as a well and perfectly preserved example of an outbuilding associated with a large detached villa. The building corresponds in detailing with the facades formed under the influence of the Chalet style of the main building, but has a more traditional appearance. Together with the villa, this outbuilding forms an important ensemble.
- Of urban-planning value due to its location at the intersection with the Loolaan and the lane to Paleis Het Loo. Furthermore because of its situation on the Amersfoortseweg, which in this section still possesses a good and intact range of historic houses which, together with the many private and public green elements, form an attractive, valuable streetscape.
