Houten WOONHUIS opgetrokken in chaletstijl rond 1900 gebouwd, gelegen in de Verboden Kringen van het fort op De Biltstraat.
Omschrijving
Geheel in hout opgetrokken pand op bijna rechthoekige plattegrond met één bouwlaag en kruisende zadeldaken gedekt met zwarte kruispan. Aan de zijde van de weg gelegen frontgevel (zuidwest) heeft een wat terugliggend bouwdeel links met lijstgevel en langskap en rechts een risalerend bouwdeel met topgevel en dwarskap. De achtergevel heeft een geveltop conform die van de frontgevel, maar hier evenals in rechter zijgevel nog voorzien van een rondboog in het over stek. Alle gevels opgetrokken in vakwerk, waarbij de velden zijn opgevuld met planken (zowel horizontaal, verticaal als diagonaal). Tegen de achtergevel een latere, éénlaags aanbouw in baksteen. Stolpramen en luiken op begane grond in de voorgevel, in de geveltoppen driedelige vensters onder keperboog. Alle topgevels hebben windveren en makelaars.

Wooden DWELLING HOUSE built in chalet style around 1900, located in the Forbidden Zones of the fort on De Biltstraat.
Description
Building constructed entirely in wood on an almost rectangular plan with one storey and crossing gabled roofs covered with black roof tiles. The front facade (south-west) facing the road has a somewhat recessed building section on the left with a cornice-topped facade and long pitch, and on the right a projecting building section with a gable top and transverse pitch. The rear facade has a gable top conforming to that of the front facade, but here as well as in the right side facade it is still provided with a rounded arch in the overhang. All facades built in timber-framing, with the fields filled in with boards (both horizontally, vertically and diagonally). Against the rear facade a later single-storey extension in brick. Casement windows and shutters on the ground floor in the front facade, in the gable tops three-part windows under herringbone arch. All gable tops have wind vanes and broach stops.
