Rond 1890 aan de oostzijde van de Vecht gesitueerde, ten behoeve van de naastgelegen Rode Brug gebouwd BRUGWACHTERSHUISJE, uitgevoerd in een soort Chaletstijl.
Omschrijving
In 1979 gerestaureerd houten brugwachtershuisje op vierkante plattegrond met bakstenen fundament, onder zinken tentdak met overstek. Het huisje bezit de kenmerken van de chaletstijl. De gevels worden door gebiljoeneerde stijlen ingedeeld die diagonaal geplaatste planken als velden insluiten. Boven de deur en boven een per zijde voorkomend venster bevindt zich een boog. Het overstek wordt door gesneden consoles ondersteund.

In 1979 restored wooden bridge keeper's house on square ground plan with brick foundation, under zinc tent roof with eaves. The house possesses the characteristics of the chalet style. The facades are divided by rusticated uprights which enclose diagonally placed planks as panels. Above the door and above a window occurring on each side is an arch. The eaves are supported by carved corbels.

Bridge keeper's house of general interest due to cultural-historical value due to its special function within a civil engineering ensemble and due to architectural-historical value as an example of a bridge keeper's house in a sort of Chalet style. Of situational value next to the Red Bridge.
