WOONBLOK, in 1922 naar ontwerp van architecten W.A. Maas en L. Zonneveldt gebouwd in Amsterdamse Schoolstijl.
Omschrijving
Woonblok van vijf woningen op min of meer rechthoekige plattegrond met deels twee en drie bouwlagen onder plat dak met schilden aan de zijvleugels, gedekt met blauw verglaasde pan. Tien traveeën brede gevel opgetrokken in rode baksteen met dominerend vier traveeën breed middendeel en derde bouwlaag met torenachtige beëindiging. Ter weerszijden van het middendeel, drie traveeëen brede delen met onregelmatige daklijn met steilopgaande met pannen gedekte schilden.
Deuren twee aan twee gekoppeld, bovenlichten met horizontale roedeverdeling. Houten vensters met horizontale en driehoekige roedeverdeling, onder de rondgemetselde delen schildvormige ramen. In de zijdelen dakkapellen met een getrapte opbouw.

Description
Residential block of five dwellings on a more or less rectangular plan with partly two and three storeys under a flat roof with hipped sections on the side wings, covered with blue glazed tile. Ten-bay wide facade constructed in red brick with dominant four-bay wide central section and third storey with tower-like termination. On either side of the central section, three-bay wide sections with irregular roof line with steeply rising hipped sections covered with tiles.
Doors arranged two by two, fanlights with horizontal glazing bars. Wooden windows with horizontal and triangular glazing bars, shield-shaped windows beneath the rounded brick sections. In the side sections roof dormers with a stepped construction.
Valuation
Housing complex of five dwellings of general importance by virtue of architectural-historical value as a sound and representative example of Amsterdam School style with reasonably well-preserved interior and as part of the oeuvre of Maas and Zonneveldt.
