Omschrijving
Reeks van WOONHUIZEN, gebouwd in 1872 en gelegen aan de oostzijde van het voormalige Begijnebolwerk. De panden hebben een souterrain, uitgevoerd in hardsteen en daarboven twee bouwlagen met gebroken kap en nok evenwijdig aan de straat. Gepleisterde en ongepleisterde gevels, beide met gepleisterde decoraties rond de geprofileerde schuifvensters en kroonlijst. De panden 15 en 18; 16 en 17 zijn spiegelbeeldig. De twee middelste panden van deze vier, tellen beide vier traveeën. De flankerende panden zijn, behalve dat ze drie traveeën beslaan, ook iets lager. Sommige panden boven de ingang bezitten een balkon.
Per pand een eenvoudige dakkapel.

Description
Series of RESIDENTIAL HOUSES, built in 1872 and located on the east side of the former Begijnebolwerk. The properties have a basement storey, executed in hardstone and above that two storeys with broken roof and ridge parallel to the street. Plastered and unplastered facades, both with plastered decoration around the moulded sash windows and cornice. Properties 15 and 18; 16 and 17 are mirror images. The two middle properties of these four each have four bays. The flanking properties, apart from spanning three bays, are also somewhat lower. Some properties above the entrance possess a balcony.
Per property one simple roof dormer.
Otherwise this block has the same characteristics as given in the general description of the complex.
Valuation
Series of residential houses of general importance because of their architectural-historical value as a good example of residential houses constructed in eclectic style. Also because of their urban design value as part of an ensemble of similar buildings with a closed street profile.
