IJzeren dubbele OPHAALBRUG ('Abel Tasmanbrug') uit 1906, als onderdeel van het sluizencomplex, gelegen in de Leidsche Rijn, ter hoogte van de kruising met het Merwedekanaal. De twee identieke bruggen zijn volgens het technische principe van hameipoort, met van vakwerk voorziene priemen en balans, geconstrueerd. In de opengewerkte middenbalk van de hameipoort is het jaartal '1906' uitgespaard. Het val bestaande uit H-profielen met houten dwarsbalken, is middels kettingen met de balans verbonden. De draagconstructie bestaat uit aan weerszijden van de weg geplaatste dubbele geschoorde profielbalken. De landhoofden zijn in baksteen en natuursteen uitgevoerd. In de bruggenhoofden een bijbehorende schotbalkwaterkering.

Iron double DRAWBRIDGE ('Abel Tasmanbrug') from 1906, as a component of the lock complex, situated in the Leidsche Rijn, at the level of the crossing with the Merwedekanaal. The two identical bridges are constructed according to the technical principle of hameipoort, with lattice-provided beams and balance. In the openwork central beam of the hameipoort the year '1906' is cut out. The leaf consisting of H-profiles with wooden cross beams is connected to the balance by means of chains. The supporting structure consists of double braced profile beams placed on either side of the road. The abutments are executed in brick and natural stone. In the bridge heads an associated sheet pile water barrier.
