Omschrijving
TUINHUIS behorende tot de historische buitenplaats Middenhoek. In de noordoosthoek van de aanleg aan de Vecht staat een tuinhuis uit 1908, dat sinds ca.1945 als woning in gebruik is waarvoor het aan de westgevel met een keukenaanbouw is uitgebreid, deze is voor de bescherming van ondergeschikt belang. Het op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken tuinhuis van hout en gepleisterde baksteen bestaat uit één bouwlaag op een gemetselde plint en onder een met gesmoorde verbeterde Hollandse pannen gedekt flauw hellend zadeldak met windveren en makelaar. De voorgevel (zuid) heeft twee symmetrisch geplaatste, originele 15-ruitsschuifvensters met getoogd bovenlicht, daartussen was oospronkelijk een tuindeur waarvan de natuurstenen drietredige stoep nog aanwezig is; de top heeft vertikaal beschot en een klein venster. De naar de Vecht gekeerde oostgevel is bekleed met horizontaal beschot en voorzien van twee, links in de gevel geplaatste, gekoppelde 30-ruitsschuifvensters in een getoogde omlijsting met een borstwering van vertikale beplanking, rechts een getoogd 20-ruitsschuifvenster met zijlichten gevat in een eveneens geprofileerde omlijsting (Serliana-motief). Tegen de achtergevel een aanbouw onder plat dak; in de westgevel naast de aanbouw een getoogd 30-ruitsschuifvenster met borstwering. Inwendig een gaaf bewaarde ruimte-indeling (kelder en zolder) met aankleding (betimmeringen en paneeldeuren). Langs de weg een eenvoudig ijzeren spijlenhekje als afscheiding.

GARDEN HOUSE belonging to the historical country estate Middenhoek. In the northeastern corner of the grounds by the Vecht stands a garden house from 1908, which since c.1945 has been in use as a dwelling for which it was extended at the west facade with a kitchen annex, this being of subsidiary importance for the protection. The garden house, constructed on a rectangular ground plan of wood and rendered brick, consists of one storey on a mortared plinth and under a gently sloping gabled roof covered with hipped roof tiles with wind braces and ridge tiles. The front facade (south) has two symmetrically placed, original 15-pane sash windows with arched fanlight, between them was originally a garden door of which the natural stone three-step stoep is still present; the top has vertical boarding and a small window. The east facade facing the Vecht is clad with horizontal boarding and provided with two, positioned on the left of the facade, coupled 30-pane sash windows in an arched surround with a breastwork of vertical boarding, on the right an arched 20-pane sash window with side lights set in an equally profiled surround (Serliana motif). Against the rear facade an extension under a flat roof; in the west facade beside the extension an arched 30-pane sash window with breastwork. Internally a well-preserved spatial arrangement (cellar and loft) with fitting out (timber linings and panel doors). Along the road a simple iron bar fence as a boundary.
