Drie bouwlagen hoog, geheel onderkelderd FILTERGEBOUW opgetrokken op een rechthoekige plattegrond in gepleisterd beton, gestort door de Hollandsche Maatschappij tot het maken van werken in gewapend beton te 's Gravenhage. Op het platte dak bevinden zich vier luchtkappen gedekt met golfplaat en op de noordwesthoek een kleine extra verdieping met plat dak, stalen deur en acht dubbele gevelopeningen met draadglas. De westgevel heeft een van de grond af gestorte betonnen ontluchtingspijp op vierkante grondslag, die boven het dak uitsteekt met natuurstenen afdekplaat, een rooster en een buishekje.
De gevels worden geleed door betonnen lisenen met op de beide verdiepingen dubbele, staande gevelopeningen met lamellen van glas om de wind door te kunnen laten en op de begane grond iets kortere, dubbele gevelopeningen deels met lamellen van glas en deels met draadglas. De beide kopgevels (oost en west) hebben op de begane grond een stalen deur. De achtergevel (zuid) heeft op de tweede verdieping twee stalen deuren met bovenlicht met draadglas en betonnen balkon zonder hek. Aan deze gevel bevindt zich een twee bouwlagen hoge aanbouw (niet origineel).
In het INTERIEUR zijn onder meer van belang: de oorspronkelijke indeling in reinwaterkelder, vier nafilters, vier voorfilters en helemaal bovenin de spoelbak. De houten blinden voor de gevelopeningen, en het buizensysteem.

Description
Three storeys high, completely cellared FILTER BUILDING constructed on a rectangular ground plan in rendered concrete, cast by the Hollandsche Maatschappij tot het maken van werken in gewapend beton of 's Gravenhage. On the flat roof are four air vents covered with corrugated metal sheet and on the northwest corner a small extra storey with flat roof, steel door and eight double facade openings with wire glass. The west facade has a concrete ventilation pipe from ground level with square base, cast as one, projecting above the roof with natural stone coping, a grille and a pipe railing.
The facades are articulated by concrete pilasters with on both storeys double, vertical facade openings with glass louvers to allow wind through and on the ground floor slightly shorter double facade openings partly with glass louvers and partly with wire glass. Both end facades (east and west) have on the ground floor a steel door. The rear facade (south) has on the second storey two steel doors with fanlight with wire glass and concrete balcony without railing. Adjacent to this facade is a two-storey extension (not original).
In the INTERIOR the following are of note: the original layout in purified water cellar, four post-filters, four pre-filters and at the very top the flush tank. The wooden blinds for the facade openings, and the pipe system.
