Inleiding
Het ZOMERHUIS, gebouwd in 1884 bij het complex van de stelpboerderij "St. Ursula", ligt ten oosten van de boerderij, tussen de boerderij en het toegangspad. Het is in een Ambachtelijke-traditionele stijl opgetrokken vermoedelijk door aannemer Kl. Wielinga uit Idskenhuizen, die ook de boerderij bouwde. Het zomerhuis omvat drie gedeeltes, die van noord naar zuid in gebruik waren als keuken, kaashok en stierenhok.
Omschrijving
Het zomerhuis heeft een lange, rechthoekige plattegrond, wordt gedekt door een zadeldak van rode gegolfde Friese pannen en is uit bruine baksteen opgetrokken. Voor de decoratieve elementen, inclusief de geblokte hoekversieringen, zijn gele bakstenen gebruikt. De voorgevel wordt versierd door een geschulpte windveer. Daar onder is een ruitvormig siermotief aangebracht in gele baksteen. Twee symmetrisch geplaatste T-vensters met gemetselde, gele strekken voorzien de voormalige keuken van daglicht. In de oostelijke zijgevel zitten een brede houten deur met gele gemetselde strek en een twaalfruits venster met metalen roedenverdeling. De achtergevel wordt gesierd door een windveer, identiek aan die in de voorgevel, een ruitvormige bakstenen versiering en een klein venster met ijzeren roedenverdeling. In de westelijke zijgevel zitten drie houten deuren en drie vensters met ijzeren roedenverdeling. Het INTERIEUR is qua indeling origineel. De vloeren van stenen tegels en houten plafonds zijn origineel.

The SUMMER HOUSE, built in 1884 at the complex of the stelpboerderij "St. Ursula", is located to the east of the farm, between the farm and the access path. The rear facade is decorated by a wind vane, identical to that on the front facade, a diamond-shaped brick decoration and a small window with iron glazing bars. In the western side facade are three wooden doors and three windows with iron glazing bars. The INTERIOR is original in layout. The floors of stone tiles and wooden ceilings are original.
