TUINBANK. Terzijde van het huis aan het voorplein staat een prieelvormige halfronde tuinbank in neo-Pompejaanse/classicistische stijl, een zogenaamd stibadium naar ontwerp van H. Wentzel afkomstig van het huis De Paauw in Wassenaar en sinds 1929 op Het Laar. Het prieel is opgebouwd uit een halfrond natuurstenen basement met vier treden, daarop een natuurstenen borstwering met aan weerszijden een zinken Kariatide en een halronde rij Dorische zuilen, die een houten lijst dragen waarop de dakconstructie rust; voorzijde met een opengewerkt een timpaan met zinken versieringen met gevleugelden. Inwendig een halfronde houten bank en een marmeren vloer.

GARDEN BENCH. Adjacent to the house at the forecourt stands a garden bench in the form of a semi-circular pavilion in neo-Pompeian/classicistic style, a so-called stibadium designed by H. Wentzel originating from the house De Paauw in Wassenaar and at Het Laar since 1929. The pavilion is constructed from a semi-circular natural stone base with four steps, upon which sits a natural stone balustrade with on either side a zinc Caryatid and a semi-circular row of Doric columns, which bear a wooden entablature on which the roof structure rests; the front features an openwork pediment with zinc ornaments with winged figures. Internally a semi-circular wooden bench and a marble floor.
