Omschrijving
DIENSTWONING. Evenwijdig aan de Dorpsweg ligt een voormalige koetsierswoning daterend uit de tweede kwart van de 19de eeuw; oorspronkelijk behorend bij het buiten Berkenstein dat in ca.1880 bij het bezit is gevoegd en vervolgens is afgebroken. Het bakstenen, gecementeerde pand is gebouwd op rechthoekige grondslag bestaande uit één bouwlaag onder een met gesmoorde Oud-Hollandse pannen gedekt afgeplat schilddak. De symmetrisch ingedeelde voorgevel heeft vijf traveeën met zesruits schuifvensters, waarvan de middelste risaleert en als dakhuis is doorgetrokken voorzien van een vierruitsvenster. In de rechter zijgevel bevindt zich de dubbele toegangsdeur geflankeerd door omlijste ronde vensters en in de linker zijgevel een keldervenster. De achtergevel is voorzien van twee stalvensters, een deur en een gekoppeld venster.

Description
SERVICE COTTAGE. Parallel to the Dorpsweg lies a former coachman's cottage dating from the second quarter of the 19th century; originally belonging to the country house Berkenstein which around 1880 was added to the property and subsequently demolished. The brick, cemented building is erected on a rectangular base consisting of one storey beneath a hipped roof covered with dampened Dutch Old Tiles. The symmetrically arranged front facade has five bays with six-pane sash windows, of which the middle projects and is continued as a roof dormer provided with a four-pane window. In the right side facade is located the double entrance door flanked by framed round windows and in the left side facade a cellar window. The rear facade is provided with two stable windows, a door and a coupled window.
