Als onderdeel van het woningbouwcomplex "Onder Dak" gebouwd WONINGBLOK, gelegen aan de noordzijde van de Engelszstraat.
Het woningblok, dat twaalf woningen omvat, is gesitueerd op een langgerekte rechthoekige plattegrond, welke met de lange zijde parallel aan de straat liggen waarbij beide hoekwoningen risaleren. Het symmetrische woningblok bestaat uit een begane grond, verdieping en zolderverdieping en wordt gedekt door een afgeknot schilddak dat bij de enigszins vooruit gelegen hoekwoningen lager doorloopt. De voorgevels van de hoekwoningen zijn door de daklijst heen doorgetrokken tot een puntgevel en worden gemarkeerd door een robuuste bakstenen schoorsteen op de hoek. De vensters op de begane grond van het woningblok bezitten alle ter weerszijden luiken. De voordeuren in het enigszins teruggelegen middenstuk van het woningblok zijn twee-aan-twee gegroepeerd en worden alle gemarkeerd door een houten beschot van horizontale gepotdekselde latten. De op de verdieping ter hoogte van het beschot gelegen vierruits vensters bezitten alle houten plantenbakken onder de vensterbanken. De voordeuren zelf worden afgesloten door een luifel. As part of the residential complex "Onder Dak" built RESIDENTIAL BLOCK, located on the north side of the Engelszstraat.
The residential block, which comprises twelve dwellings, is situated on an elongated rectangular plan, which lies with its long side parallel to the street, with both corner dwellings projecting forward. The symmetrical residential block consists of a ground floor, first floor and attic storey and is covered by a truncated hipped roof which runs lower at the corner dwellings that project somewhat forward. The front facades of the corner dwellings are carried through the eaves line to form a pointed gable and are marked by a robust brick chimney on the corner. The windows on the ground floor of the residential block all have shutters on either side. The front doors in the somewhat recessed middle section of the residential block are grouped two-by-two and are all marked by a wooden boarding of horizontal potashed slats. The four-pane windows located on the first floor at the height of the boarding all have wooden plant boxes under the window sills. The front doors themselves are closed by a canopy. In the corner dwellings the front door is located in the side facade and is likewise closed by a canopy.
