Inleiding
De ERFSCHEIDING van het terrein van de watertoren bij Lippenhuizen, is gelijktijdig met de bouw van de toren in 1932 geconstrueerd. De belangrijkste ontwerper die binnen de bouwkundige afdeling van de I.W.G.L. grote invloed had op de vormgeving was Jhr. E.C. Storm van 's-Gravensande, de latere directeur van het Waterleidingsbedrijf. Vermoedelijk heeft hij ook het ontwerp voor de bijpassende erfscheiding getekend.
Omschrijving
De erfscheiding heeft een samengestelde constructie bestaande uit een dam over de erfsloot waarop een hekwerk. De dam bestaat uit beton waarop aan weerszijden een bakstenen balustrade waarop een ijzeren band in T-profiel met golfrand. In het midden van de balustrade staat een opgemetselde kolom waaraan de geklonken ijzeren hekken met spijlen draaien.
Waardering
De erfscheiding bij de watertoren te Lippenhuizen uit 1932 is van algemeen cultuurhistorisch belang:
- als contemporain en essentieel onderdeel van het complex,
- vanwege de esthetische kwaliteit van het hekwerk in relatie tot de watertoren,

Introduction
The BOUNDARY FENCE of the water tower site at Lippenhuizen was constructed concurrently with the construction of the tower in 1932. The most important designer who had great influence on the design within the architectural department of the I.W.G.L. was Baron E.C. Storm van 's-Gravensande, the later director of the Water Supply Company. It is presumed that he also drew the design for the matching boundary fence.
Description
The boundary fence has a composite construction consisting of a dam over the boundary ditch upon which a fence. The dam consists of concrete upon which on both sides a brick balustrade upon which an iron band in T-profile with corrugated edge. In the middle of the balustrade stands a built-up column to which the riveted iron fences with railings turn.
Valuation
The boundary fence at the water tower at Lippenhuizen from 1932 is of general cultural-historical importance:
