Omschrijving

Originally freestanding, in 1920 connected to a gate building by a corridor with several rooms. The building was renovated in 1943 and 1970 amongst other things into laundries, a recreation room with a podium. In the front facade the gates have been replaced by windows, in the rear and side facades several windows and doors have been placed or replaced.
Description
Coach house with U-shaped floor plan in two storeys with a hipped roof.
The facades have a red painted brick wall with raked joints and a hardstone plinth, and threshold stones; the front facade is symmetrical in composition, with projecting sections on either side. The centre section of the front facade has centrally a slightly projecting segmental entrance with authentic rectangular panelled doors with wrought-iron fittings and segmental fanlight with vertical glazing bars. A small gable with a bell-shaped top. In the front facade segmental cross windows under red roll-moulding and natural stone setting stone and segmental arch. Further various hardstone lists and accents; such as gutter brackets and a projecting edge between the storeys. In the two wings the gates at the bottom are bricked up, above which double cross windows with segmental fanlight and red roll-moulding with hardstone setting and closing stone, under segmental arch. On the roofs two roof dormers with hardstone list and wrought-iron capping. The right part of the left side facade is slightly projecting and is terminated on either side by natural stone. On the roof, in the middle of the projection a roof dormer. In the second storey segmental arch windows partly with hardstone elements. In 1943 two large windows were inserted in the first storey and the plinth was partly cemented over. In the rear facade various windows of more recent date; some remnants of hardstone lists; alterations in 1943 and circa 1970; in the rear facade roof dormers removed and larger windows placed.
