Omschrijving
Omschrijving onderdeel 4: RENTMEESTERSWONING EN ENTREE (op de bijbehorende kaart aangegeven met nr. 4).
Voormalige RENTMEESTERSWONING en entree ten zuidwesten van het huis Zwaluwenburg. De woning op L-vormige grondslag wordt overkapt door een met riet gedekt en samengesteld overstekend schilddak. Op het dak staan bakstenen schoorstenen en op enkele plaatsen bevinden zich dakkapellen waarboven het riet is opgetild. De 2-, 3- en 4-delige vensters zijn voorzien van blank glas-in-lood en luiken. In de voorgevel (noord) bevindt zich de hoofdingang. Links (noordwest) van de woning staat een kwartronde, lage, brede bakstenen tuinmuur met rollaagafdekking, eveneens uit ca. 1915. Bij de woning is een smeedijzeren hekje aangebracht. De muur grenst aan de ENTREE, die gevormd wordt door twee bakstenen pijlers met natuurstenen dekplaten. Op de linkerpijler is het woord "ZWALUW" aangebracht, op de rechter "ENBURG". De pijlers zijn identiek aan de entree aan de Zuiderzeestraatweg. Aan de linkerzijde van de entree loopt de lage muur nog enkele meters door.
De schuren rondom de rentmeesterswoning vallen wegens te geringe monumentale waarden buiten de bescherming van rijkswege. Tussen de pijlers van de entree staat een witgeschilderd houten draaibaar hek van recente datum (circa 1995) dat wegens te geringe ouderdom buiten de bescherming valt.
Waardering
RENTMEESTERSWONING MET ENTREE is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de architectonische vormgeving;

Description of component 4: STEWARD'S HOUSE AND ENTRANCE (indicated on the accompanying map with no. 4).
Former STEWARD'S HOUSE and entrance to the southwest of Huis Zwaluwenburg. The house on an L-shaped plan is covered by a reed-thatched hipped roof with composite overhang. Brick chimneys stand on the roof and roof dormers are present in several places above which the thatch is lifted. The 2-, 3- and 4-light windows are provided with clear leaded glass and shutters. In the front facade (north) is the main entrance. To the left (northwest) of the house stands a quarter-round, low, wide brick garden wall with roll-layer capping, also dating from circa 1915. A wrought-iron small gate has been attached to the house. The wall adjoins the ENTRANCE, which is formed by two brick pillars with natural stone capping plates. On the left pillar the word "ZWALUW" is inscribed, on the right "ENBURG". The pillars are identical to the entrance on the Zuiderzeestraatweg. On the left side of the entrance the low wall continues for several metres more.
The barns around the steward's house are excluded from protection by the State due to insufficient monumental values. Between the pillars of the entrance stands a white-painted wooden rotating gate of recent date (circa 1995) which is excluded from protection due to its recent age.
