Omschrijving complexonderdeel 2
Het links (zuidzijde) van de boerderij gesitueerde ZOMERHUIS op een rechthoekig grondplan, is gebouwd omstreeks 1860. Het heeft een met gesmoorde Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak met de nok haaks op de weg. De voorgevel (oostzijde) vertoont dezelfde neogotische detaillering als die van de boerderij. Hoeklisenen en een boog in de geveltop in rode baksteen omlijsten een spaarveld van gele baksteen. Binnen het spaarveld is een groot venster met luiken en een spitsboogvormig bovenlicht geplaatst met neogotische traceringen. Langs de dakrand zijn eenvoudige windveren aangebracht. In de rechterzijgevel bevinden zich een zesruits schuifvenster en een dubbele en een enkele opgeklampte deur. De linkerzijgevel bevat twee gietijzeren stalvensters. Aan de achterzijde is een houten schuur aangebouwd.
Waardering complexonderdeel 2
Het object is van algemeen belang vanwege de architectuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een zomerhuis, alsmede vanwege de gaafheid van hoofdvorm en gevelindeling. Voorts vanwege de detaillering van de voorgevel in neogotische trant en het gebruik van twee kleuren baksteen.
Het zomerhuis is van ensemblewaarde in samenhang met de naastgelegen boerderij, gebouwd in dezelfde stijl.

Description of complex component 2
The SUMMER HOUSE situated to the left (south side) of the farmhouse, on a rectangular floor plan, was built around 1860. It has a gabled roof covered with suppressed Dutch tiles with the ridge perpendicular to the road. The front facade (east side) shows the same neo-Gothic detailing as that of the farmhouse. Corner pilasters and an arch in the roof gable in red brick frame a spared field of yellow brick. Within the spared field a large window with shutters and an ogival-arched fanlight placed with neo-Gothic tracery. Along the roof edge simple wind-braces are fitted. In the right side facade are a six-pane sash window and a double and a single clamped door. The left side facade contains two cast-iron stable windows. At the rear a wooden barn has been added.
Valuation of complex component 2
The object is of general importance for its architectural-historical value as an example of a summer house, as well as for the integrity of main form and facade arrangement. Furthermore for the detailing of the front facade in neo-Gothic style and the use of two colours of brick.
The summer house is of group value in conjunction with the adjacent farmhouse, built in the same style.
