Inleiding
STELP uit het begin van de 20ste eeuw in ambachtelijk-traditionele stijl, waarschijnlijk ontworpen door W.C. de Groot, huisarchitect van de eigenaar van het pand, het St. Anthony Gasthuis te Leeuwarden. De boerderij is een van de 23 boerenplaatsen die het Sint Anthony Gasthuis in haar bezit heeft. Naast de stelp staat een bijschuur die aan de hoofdschuur is vastgebouwd. Het geheel ligt in het buurtschap de Lytse Geast en wordt grotendeels omringd door een sloot. In een uitbouw onder plat dak in de noordgevel is een vernieuwde vensterpartij.
De grote bijschuur die via een platte hals dwars achter de hoofdschuur is gebouwd heeft evenals de hals geen monumentale waarde en valt buiten de bescherming van rijkswege.
Omschrijving
De stelp is opgetrokken uit gele bakstenen onder een opgetrokken schilddak met een schoorsteen voor en een uilebord achter op de nok; zwarte friese golfpannen op het voorhuis en golfplaten en riet op het schuurgedeelte. Onder de golfplaten is de oorspronkelijke rietbedekking nog aanwezig. Het VOORHUIS heeft zowel een gepleisterde plint als een gepleisterd fries met gootlijst erboven; in de "vleugels" van de voorgevel twee gietijzeren rozetroosters. De getoogde H-vensters worden omsloten door wenkbrauwbogen van donkerrode bakstenen. De raampartij in het midden van de voorgevel wordt benadrukt door een gepleisterde omlijsting, met aan weerszijden een verdiepte pilaster; daarin een gietijzeren ontluchtingsrooster. Rechts in de voorgevel twee hooggeplaatste vensters; twee kelderopeningen met luiken en smalle bovenlichten. Deze kelderopeningen worden herhaald in de noordelijke zijgevel. Zowel aan de noord- als de zuidzijde van het pand bevindt zich in een verhoogd geveldeel een toegangsdeur tot het voorhuis; dakkapel boven de deur in de zuidgevel.
De indeling van de plattegrond van het voorhuis is grotendeels ongewijzigd gebleven. Vermeldenswaard is de gaaf bewaarde melkkelder met plavuizen vloer en een verhoogde omranding van gele bakstenen.
Het SCHUURGEDEELTE heeft getoogde gietijzeren drieruitsvensters. Aan de achterzijde iets teruggezette dubbele deeldeuren. Rechts van de schuur is een BIJSCHUUR met een doorreed aangebouwd, net als de hoofdschuur onder opgetrokken schilddak; twee uileborden; goot op klossen. De bijschuur heeft dezelfde ramen als de hoofdschuur. Aan de voorzijde een houten deur met getoogd bovenlicht onder een segmentboog, geflankeerd door twee getoogde gietijzeren ramen met roedeverdeling. Vernieuwde dubbele deur aan de achterzijde. Via een tussendeur zijn bij- en hoofdschuur met elkaar verbonden.
INWENDIG zijn hoofd- en bijschuur in deels authentieke en deels gewijzigde staat.

STELP from the early 20th century in artisanal-traditional style, probably designed by W.C. de Groot, house architect of the owner of the property, the St. Anthony Hospital in Leeuwarden. The farmhouse is one of 23 farmsteads owned by the Sint Anthony Hospital. Next to the stelp stands an ancillary barn which is built against the main barn. The whole is situated in the hamlet de Lytse Geast and is largely surrounded by a ditch. In an extension under a flat roof in the north gable is a renewed window arrangement.
The large ancillary barn which is built transversely behind the main barn via a flat neck has, like the neck, no monumental value and falls outside national protection.
Description
The stelp is constructed from yellow bricks under a hipped roof with a chimney at the front and an owl board at the rear of the ridge; black Frisian roof tiles on the front house and corrugated sheets and reed on the barn section. Under the corrugated sheets the original reed thatch is still present. The FRONT HOUSE has both a plastered plinth and a plastered frieze with gutter moulding above; in the "wings" of the front gable two cast-iron rose grilles. The arched H-windows are enclosed by eyebrow arches of dark red bricks. The window arrangement in the middle of the front gable is emphasised by a plastered frame, with a recessed pilaster on either side; in it a cast-iron ventilation grille. On the right in the front gable two high-placed windows; two cellar openings with shutters and narrow fanlights. These cellar openings are repeated in the northern side gable. On both the north and south sides of the property there is in a raised gable section a door to the front house; roof dormer above the door in the south gable.
The layout of the floor plan of the front house has remained largely unchanged. Noteworthy is the well-preserved milk cellar with tiled floor and a raised surround of yellow bricks.
The BARN SECTION has arched cast-iron three-light windows. At the rear slightly recessed double folding doors. To the right of the barn is an ANCILLARY BARN with a carriage drive built against it, like the main barn under a hipped roof; two owl boards; gutter on corbels. The ancillary barn has the same windows as the main barn. On the front a wooden door with arched fanlight under a segmental arch, flanked by two arched cast-iron windows with glazing bars. Renewed double door at the rear. Via an intermediate door the ancillary and main barns are connected to each other.
INTERNALLY the main and ancillary barns are in partly authentic and partly altered state.
Valuation
The stelp from the beginning of this century is of general cultural and architectural historical importance:
