Vrij gave KOP-ROMPBOERDERIJ opgetrokken in roodbruine baksteen. Het voorhuis heeft een zadeldak gedekt met zwarte geglazuurde Friese golfpannen; een schoorsteen voor op de nok; geprofileerde goot op klossen. Het schuurgedeelte staat onder een schilddak gedekt met zwarte geglazuurde Friese golfpannen aan de voorzijde en ongeglazuurde op de rest van het dak; op de nok een schoorsteen; uileborden; houten goten met houten klossen aan de voorzijde en gemetselde klossen aan de achter- en zijkanten. De topgevel van de 'kop' heeft een kop-strekrollaag langs de dakrand, rozetankers en een boogvormige metseldecoratie in de top. In de voorgevel bevinden zich twee getoogde zoldervensters onder rollaag en twee getoogde zesruitsvensters onder gemetselde wenkbrauwboog, die terugkeren in de zijgevels. In de westgevel nog een zesruitvenster; kelderraam onder strek.
In de voorgevel van de 'romp' bevindt zich de geverfde houten voordeur met getoogd bovenlicht met gietijzeren levensboom; rechts van de deur twee getoogde zesruitsvensters en daarnaast twee lager geplaatste melkkamervensters met diefijzers en tot de wisseldorpel met luiken geblindeerd; alle vensters onder strek. De westgevel van het SCHUURGEDEELTE heeft ijzeren getoogde drieruitsvensters; de oostgevel heeft ijzeren rondboogvensters met tracering; een staldeur; in een terugspringend geveldeel een deur met bovenlicht en een zesruitsvenster ernaast. De achtergevel van het schuurgedeelte heeft dubbele deeldeuren en twee staldeuren, waarvan de ene een bovenlicht en zijlicht heeft en de andere alleen een bovenlicht; vensters variërend in grootte en materiaalgebruik; deuren en vensters onder rollaag.

De laat 19de eeuwse kop-rompboerderij is van algemeen cultuurhistorisch en architectuurhistorisch belang:

Fairly well-preserved HEAD-AND-BODY FARMHOUSE constructed in reddish-brown brick. The front house has a gabled roof covered with black glazed Frisian curved tiles; a chimney on the ridge; moulded gutter on corbels. The barn section stands under a hipped roof covered with black glazed Frisian curved tiles on the front and unglazed on the rest of the roof; a chimney on the ridge; owl boards; wooden gutters with wooden corbels on the front and mortared corbels on the rear and side walls. The top gable of the 'head' has a head roll moulding along the roof edge, rose anchors and an arched brick decoration at the apex. In the front facade are two arched loft windows under roll moulding and two arched six-light windows under mortared eyebrow arch, which recur in the side gables. In the west gable another six-light window; basement window under roll moulding.
In the front facade of the 'body' is the painted wooden front door with arched fanlight with cast-iron tree-of-life; to the right of the door two arched six-light windows and beside them two lower placed dairy-room windows with theft-bars and up to the threshold with shutters blindfolded; all windows under roll moulding. The west gable of the BARN SECTION has iron arched three-light windows; the east gable has iron round-arch windows with tracery; a stable door; in a recessed gable section a door with fanlight and a six-light window beside it. The rear gable of the barn section has double split doors and two stable doors, one of which has a fanlight and sidelight and the other only a fanlight; windows varying in size and material use; doors and windows under roll moulding.
Valuation
The late 19th century head-and-body farmhouse is of general cultural-historical and architectural-historical importance:
- because of its regionally characteristic design and detailing;
- as an example of a head-and-body farmhouse with dairy room in the body;
- because of the fairly high degree of preservation of the exterior;
- because of its visually dominant location in the middle of the village.
