Omschrijving
Twee forse stenen HEKPIJLERS, waarschijnlijk uit de jaren twintig van de twintigste eeuw. De pijlers markeren de toegang tot de oprit van het renteniershuis en lopen taps toe, bekroond door een "muts" en zijn gedecoreerd met verticale oranjerode zaagtandlijsten van baksteen die de zijvlakken doormidden delen.
Waardering
De pijlers behorende bij het complex van woonhuis en hekpijlers te Burgum zijn van algemeen belang:
- als functioneel onderdeel van het complex "De Beuk";
- vanwege de uitgesproken vormgeving.

Two substantial stone GATE PIERS, probably from the 1920s. The piers mark the entrance to the drive of the gentleman's residence and taper upwards, crowned by a "cap" and are decorated with vertical red-orange sawtooth strips of brick that divide the side faces in half.

The piers forming part of the complex of residential house and gate piers at Burgum are of general importance:
- as a functional component of the complex "De Beuk";
