Aan het begin van de toegangslaan naar de voormalige dienstwoning twee bakstenen HEKPIJLERS, voorheen behorende bij de historische buitenplaats Hoogergeest en vandaar naar Schoonenberg overgeplaatst. De pijlers bezitten een vierkante basis met afgeschuinde hoekstenen in de bovenste metsellaag, daarboven de kolom met hol geprofileerde hoekstenen waarop geprofileerd natuurstenen dekplaten rusten; deze dragen de letters HOOGER, respectievelijk GEEST. Tussen de pijlers een eenvoudig vroeg 20ste- eeuws smeedijzeren HEK.

Description
At the beginning of the access lane to the former service dwelling are two brick GATE PIERS, formerly belonging to the historic country estate Hoogergeest and relocated from there to Schoonenberg. The piers possess a square base with chamfered corner stones in the uppermost mortar course, above it the column with hollow profiled corner stones upon which rest profiled natural stone cap plates; these carry the letters HOOGER and GEEST respectively. Between the piers a simple early 20th-century wrought-iron GATE.
