Inleiding
De blokvormige SCHUUR uit 1899 die bij het complex van het "Strandhuis De Bildtpollen" hoort, bevindt zich aan de zuidwestzijde van het strandhuis en is naar het noorden georinteerd.
Omschrijving
De schuur op rechthoekige plattegrond is opgetrokken in bruine baksteen en wordt door een schilddak met wolfeinden gedekt, hetgeen de schuur een boerderij-achtig aanzien geeft. De constructie van het dekbalkgebint en de sporenkap zijn origineel. Onder het golfplaten dak ligt de rieten dakbedekking. Zowel aan de voor- als achterzijde is een uilebord met eenvoudige makelaar geplaatst, het achterste met een ijzeren lansvormige windwijzer. Recentelijk is de voorgevel tot ca. 1½ m. hoogte met rechtopstaand metselwerk bekleed. De originele brede deur is inmiddels vervangen door een garagedeur.

De schuur, horend bij het complex van het "Strandhuis De Bildtpollen", is van algemeen cultuurhistorisch en architectuurhistorisch belang:
- als essentieel onderdeel van een groter geheel dat cultuurhistorisch, typologisch en qua functionele zeldzaamheid van nationaal belang is;

The block-shaped BARN from 1899 which belongs to the complex of the "Beach House De Bildtpollen" is situated on the south-west side of the beach house and is oriented towards the north.
Description
The barn on a rectangular ground plan is constructed in brown brick and is covered by a hipped roof with half-hipped ends, which gives the barn a farmhouse-like appearance. The construction of the roof collar tie structure and the principal rafter truss are original. Under the corrugated iron roof lies the thatched roof covering. Both on the front and rear sides an owl board with simple brace has been placed, the rear one with an iron lance-shaped weathervane. Recently the front facade has been clad to approximately 1½ m. height with upright masonry. The original broad door has meanwhile been replaced by a garage door.

The barn, belonging to the complex of the "Beach House De Bildtpollen", is of general cultural-historical and architectural-historical importance:
- as an essential component of a larger whole that is of national importance in terms of cultural-historical, typological and functional rarity;
