Behorende tot de buitenplaats Het Hexel, een in rode baksteen opgemetselde lage (ca.1.50) MUUR tussen op regelmatige afstand (2.20) van elkaar geplaatste hoge steunberen met lisenen. Aan het uiteinde van de muur een THEEHUISJE (1918), eveneens in rode baksteen gemetseld onder een rietgedekt tentdak met zinken spits. Het theehuis is aan de voorzijde (NO) open en heeft in de beide zijgevels meerruits vensters.
Waardering
Muur met theehuis behorende tot de buitenplaats Het Hexel is van algemeen cultuur-, architectuurhistorisch en stedebouwkundig belang:
- als eerste aanzet tot het later gebouwde buitenverblijf voor een Twentse textielfabrikant;
- vanwege de gaafheid;
- als onderdeel van de tuin behorend bij buitenplaats Het Hexel.

Belonging to the country estate Het Hexel, a low (approx. 1.50) WALL built of red brickwork between tall buttresses with pilasters placed at regular intervals (2.20) of each other. At the end of the wall a TEA HOUSE (1918), also built of red brickwork under a reed-thatched tent roof with zinc spire. The tea house is open at the front (NE) and has multi-pane windows in both side gables.
Valuation
Wall with tea house belonging to the country estate Het Hexel is of general cultural, architectural-historical and urban-planning importance:
- as the first beginning of the country retreat later built for a Twente textile manufacturer;
