Omschrijving
Het TUINMANSHUIS is in rode baksteen opgetrokken over één bouwlaag op een rechthoekige plattegrond onder een schilddak met antracietgrijze Hollandse pannen. De gevels zijn geleed door zesruits schuifvensters met strekken en gepleisterde waterdorpels. Centraal in de voorgevel (O) bevindt zich een paneeldeur onder een getoogd tweeruits bovenlicht. Aan weerszijden een getoogd venster. Boven de ingang een gemetselde dakkapel met windveren en een paneelluik met tweeruits venster. De linker zijgevel (Z) bevat twee rechtgesloten vensters en de rechter zijgevel (N) is blind. In de achtergevel is een glasdeur met tweeruits bovenlicht geplaatst tussen een rechtgesloten en een vierruits venster. In de jaren '90 van de twintigste eeuw werd het tuinmanshuis middels een tussenlid met het koetshuis verbonden.

Het tuinmanshuis is van algemeen cultuurhistorisch en stedebouwkundig belang, vanwege:

Description
The GARDENER'S HOUSE is built in red brickwork over one storey on a rectangular plan beneath a hipped roof with anthracite-grey Dutch tiles. The façades are articulated by six-pane sash windows with stretchers and rendered drip mouldings. Centrally in the front façade (E) there is a panelled door beneath a segmental arched two-pane fanlight. On either side a segmental arched window. Above the entrance a brick dormer with wind vanes and a panelled shutter with two-pane window. The left side façade (S) contains two right-angled windows and the right side façade (N) is blank. In the rear façade a glazed door with two-pane fanlight is placed between a right-angled and a four-pane window. In the 1990s the gardener's house was connected to the coach house by means of a connecting link.
Valuation
The gardener's house is of general cultural-historical and urban planning importance, because of:
- the social and economic significance of Veningh Meinesz for the surroundings of the Eelerberg;
- the spatial and functional relationship with the country house, coach house and steward's house;
- the integrity of the exterior.
