Omschrijving onderdeel 6
BRUG. Over de singel aan de oostzijde ligt een ijzeren brug uit 1872 vervaardigd in een ijzergieterij te Isselburg. De brug wordt gedragen door bakstenen brughoofden en twee gietijzeren jukken in de vorm van zuiltjes. Het gebogen onderstel van ijzeren balken en de leuning zijn bewaard gebleven, doch het brugdek is grotendeels verdwenen evenals de balustrade in siersmeedwerk met drie slanke balusters waarop schaalbekroning. De ontwerptekeningen zijn bewaard gebleven.
Waardering
De BRUG is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de ouderdom;
- vanwege het materiaalgebruik, namelijk ijzer;
- vanwege de oorspronkelijk rijk gedecoreerde vormgeving;

BRIDGE. Over the encircling ditch on the east side lies an iron bridge from 1872 manufactured in an iron foundry at Isselburg. The bridge is supported by brick bridge abutments and two cast iron yokes in the form of small columns. The curved substructure of iron beams and the railing have been preserved, but the bridge deck is largely gone as is the balustrade in ornamental wrought work with three slender balusters topped with scallop shells. The design drawings have been preserved.

The BRIDGE is of general importance:
- by reason of its age;
- by reason of the material used, namely iron;
- by reason of its originally richly decorated design;
- as a functional component for the circumambulating walk within the garden and park layout.
