Inleiding
VARKENSSTAL is in het begin van deze eeuw gebouwd in een Traditioneel Ambachtelijke stijl als onderdeel van een boerderijcomplex, bestaande uitmeerdere onderdelen.
Omschrijving
Vrijstaande varkensstal op een rechthoekige plattegrond bestaat uit een bakstenen plint met daarop gepotdekselde wanden. Het zadeldak, haaks georiënteerd op het stalgedeelte van de boerderij, is gedekt met gesmoorde Hollandse pannen en heeft eenvoudige windveren die eindigen in een makelaar. In de voorgevel (oost) is een deur geplaatst, geflankeerd door vensters. In de geveltop bevindt zich een roosvenster.
Waardering
Het complexonderdeel is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische waarde als typologisch voorbeeld van een varkensstal uit het begin van de 20ste eeuw in een Traditioneel Ambachtelijke stijl. Detached pig shed on a rectangular plan consisting of a brick plinth with thatched walls on top. The gabled roof, at right angles to the stable section of the farmhouse, is covered with Flemish bond pantiles and has simple wind braces that end in a collar tie. In the front gable (east) a door is placed, flanked by windows. In the gable top there is a circular window.
Valuation
The complex component is of general interest because of its cultural-historical value as a typological example of a pig shed from the early 20th century in a Traditional Artisanal style. The building is intact in main form, use of materials and detailing. The pig shed forms part of the farm complex, consisting of spatially and functionally related plot components.
