Omschrijving
POORTHUIS of dienstwoning van huis Scherpenzeel, gelegen aan de noordkant van het park in de rooilijn van de Dorpsstraat. Het gebouw heeft een bouwlaag onder met pannen gedekt schilddak. Het pand stamt uit 1858. Het is een eenvoudig gebouw met drie T-vensters met luiken, een entree bestaande uit een deur met bovenlicht omlijst door pilasters op hardstenen neuten en afgedekt met een kroonlijst. De gevels worden afgesloten door een eenvoudige geprofileerde gootlijst. In het inwendige een kleine kelder met waterbak.

Description
GATEHOUSE or service dwelling of house Scherpenzeel, located on the north side of the park in the building line of the Dorpsstraat. The building has one storey with a hipped roof covered in tiles. The building dates from 1858. It is a simple building with three T-windows with shutters, an entrance consisting of a door with fanlight framed by pilasters on hardstone plinths and topped with a cornice. The facades are finished with a simple moulded gutter moulding. Inside a small cellar with water tank.
