HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG De tuinaanleg uit het midden van de negentiende eeuw is goed bewaard gebleven. De ontwerper van deze tuinaanleg is niet bekend, hoewel bepaalde elementen (uitkijkheuvel) aan Zocher doen denken. In 1919 is de parktuin rond het huis aangepast. De tuinaanleg bestaat uit een smalle strook met bij het huis slingerpaden en bos en recht voor het huis een langgerekt open gebied met weilanden en slingerende waterpartijen. Aan de randen hakhout en opgaand bos. Aan de zuidzijde van het open gebied is een kunstmatige heuvel opgeworpen en is een rechte eikenlaan aangelegd die op het huis is gericht. De tuinaanleg wordt beëindigd door drie weilanden, omringd door hakhout waar slingerpaden doorlopen. In 1919 heeft tuinarchitect D.F. Tersteeg de toenmalige aanleg ingemeten en een aantal wijzigingen aangebracht, met name in de situatie rond het hoofdgebouw. Op het eiland zijn nog de betonnen fundamenten aanwezig van een muziektent/tuinkoepel. Aan de straatzijde is de aanleg verdwenen door eigendomssplitsing en nieuwbouw op het terrein.

HISTORICAL GARDEN AND PARK LAYOUT The garden layout from the mid-nineteenth century has been well preserved. The designer of this garden layout is unknown, although certain elements (viewing mound) suggest Zocher. In 1919 the park garden around the house was adapted. The garden layout consists of a narrow strip with winding paths near the house and woodland and straight in front of the house an elongated open area with meadows and winding water features. At the edges coppice and mature woodland. On the south side of the open area an artificial mound has been raised and a straight oak avenue has been laid out directed at the house. The garden layout is terminated by three meadows, surrounded by coppice where winding paths run through. In 1919 garden architect D.F. Tersteeg measured the then existing layout and made a number of modifications, particularly in the situation around the main building. On the island the concrete foundations are still present of a music tent/garden pavilion. On the street side the layout has disappeared through division of ownership and new building on the site.
