De TWEE KANONSLOPEN NABIJ DE INGANG ZUID-WILLEMSVAART bezitten algemeen belang wegens: - de ouderdom; - het markerend effect van de onderdelen, ter indicatie van de omgrenzing van het kasteelterrein; - de structurele en historische verbondenheid met de buitenplaats en - als (resterende) proeven van de historische essentie van kasteel Heeswijk c.a., zijnde resultaten van een verwoed 19de-eeuws collectioneurschap.
