De entree tot Strijdhoef wordt gevormd door twee wellicht achttiende-eeuwse monumentale, bepleisterde en geschilderde hekpijlers met verdiept veld en bekroond door een afdekplaat met bol. De ijzeren vleugelhekken zijn van omstreeks 1900. Het fabrikaat blijkt uit het opschrift 'G.J. VINCENT & Co SCHIEDAM'.

The entrance to Strijdhoef is formed by two possibly eighteenth-century monumental, plastered and painted gate pillars with recessed field and crowned by a capping plate with ball finial. The iron wing gates are from around 1900. The maker is evident from the inscription 'G.J. VINCENT & Co SCHIEDAM'.
