Het KOETSHUIS van de buitenplaats Rusthoek dateert volgens de gevelsteen uit 1852. De eerste steen werd gelegd door Anna Elisabeth van Heemstra. Het koetshuis is opgetrokken in neoclassicistische stijl. De invloed van de Italiaanse architect A. Palladio is in de verschijningsvorm herkenbaar. Het achter het huis ten noordwesten van de villa Rusthoek gelegen koetshuis telt twee bouwlagen op een rechthoekige plattegrond onder een afgeplat, overstekend schilddak, gedekt met blauwe Hollandse pannen. De bouwlagen worden gescheiden door een geprofileerde cordonlijst.
De voorgevel telt drie traveeën, die worden gescheiden door geblokte lisenen over beide verdiepingen. The COACH HOUSE of the country estate Rusthoek dates according to the foundation stone from 1852. The foundation stone was laid by Anna Elisabeth van Heemstra. The coach house is constructed in neoclassical style. The influence of the Italian architect A. Palladio is recognizable in its appearance. Located behind the house to the north-west of the villa Rusthoek, the coach house has two storeys on a rectangular plan under a flattened, overhanging hipped roof, covered with blue Dutch tiles. The storeys are separated by a profiled string course.
The front facade has three bays, which are separated by channelled lisenes across both storeys. The first storey contains in the left bay sliding entrance doors, as well as in the middle bay. The right bay contains a door and a window. In the second storey is a loggia with two Tuscan columns. In the loggia a hoist beam is fixed. The outer bays each contain two semicircular windows. The side and rear facades consist of wooden rabat sections.
