Omschrijving
Rechthoekige SLUISKOLK van 140 meter lang en 12 meter breed die bestaat uit een betonnen vloer en wanden met gemetselde randen. Op het bovenhoofd van de sluiskolk bevinden zich de stalen sluisdeur tussen betonnen heftorens. De torens zijn in witgeschilderd beton opgetrokken op een vierkante plattegrond onder overstekende zadeldaken die met rode Hollandse pannen zijn gedekt. De uitgetimmerde kappen zijn aan de noord- en zuidkant voorzien van schuingeplaatste beschotten. Buitentrappen leiden naar de houten deuren in de oostgevels van de torens boven de rechtgesloten doorgangen op de begane grond. De om de hoek lopende vensterreeksen in het uitkragende deel van de torens boven de hefschuiven zijn voorzien van stalen kozijnen. Datzelfde geldt voor de smalle vertikale vensters in de gevels aan de buitenkant van de sluiskolk. Rectangular LOCK CHAMBER 140 metres long and 12 metres wide consisting of a concrete floor and walls with masoned edges. On top of the lock chamber are the steel lock gates between concrete lifting towers.
