Inleiding
Aan oostzijde van de Jisperweg gelegen STOLPBOERDERIJ van het Noordhollandse type, genaamd "Hovenberg" en volgens gevelsteen gebouwd in 1889. De middenpartij heeft twee paar openslaande tuindeuren, een oplossing die buiten Beemster weinig voorkomt.
Omschrijving
Op rechthoekig grondplan gebouwde stolpboerderij met staartstuk aan de achterzijde (O). De boerderij heeft een schilddak dat boven het staartstuk overgaat in een zadeldak. De daken zijn gedekt met een zwarte Hollandse pan, het voorste dakschild heeft een vierkante schoorsteen en een geglazuurde zwarte Hollandse pan. De inwendige houten draagconstructie bestaat uit een vierkant. Het muurwerk is opgetrokken in rode baksteen, waarin op diverse plaatsen de schieters van de muurankers zichtbaar zijn. De goten zijn omgaand in hout. De voorgevel heeft een kroonlijst en is hoger dan de zijgevels. De voorgevel (W) is symmetrisch, heeft een plint in cementpleister, telt zes vensterassen en wordt door vier geblokte lisenen (cementpleister), verdeeld in drie gevelvlakken, elk met twee vensterassen. De nadruk ligt op het middelste gevelvlak (middenpartij). De middenpartij doorsnijdt de kroonlijst en heeft twee bouwlagen onder flauw hellend, overstekend en haaks op het schilddak geplaatst zadeldak met gesneden windveren. De middenpartij heeft op de parterre twee dubbele paneeldeuren (genoemde tuindeuren ) met glaspanelen en getoogde bovenlichten en op de verdieping getoogde T-vensters. Tussen de paneeldeuren bevindt zich de genoemde gevelsteen. De geveltop heeft een klein rond gat in een bossage.
De flankerende gevelvlakken hebben elk twee getoogde T-vensters, identiek aan de exemplaren in de middenpartij. De linkerzijgevel (N) heeft in het gedeelte van de woning een T-venster en een paneeldeur met ijzeren harnas en bovenlicht. Het stalgedeelte heeft nog drie oorspronkelijke getoogde ijzeren stalvensters. De rechterzijgevel (Z) heeft in het stalgedeelte nog drie oorspronkelijke getoogde ijzeren stalvensters. De oorspronkelijke delen van de achterzijde (W) zijn links de darsdeur en nabij de aansluiting van het staartstuk een opgeklampte deur met bovenlicht. Het staartstuk is aan de achterzijde nog merendeels oorspronkelijk met in de linker zijmuur (Z) een getoogd ijzeren stalvenster en in de topgevel twee boven elkaar geplaatste opgeklampte deuren met bovenlicht. De deur op de parterre wordt geflankeerd door een getoogd ijzeren stalvenster. De topgevel heeft gladde windveren en een makelaar.

A stolpboerderij built on a rectangular ground plan with a rear section on the rear side (E). The farmhouse has a hipped roof that transitions above the rear section into a gabled roof. The roofs are covered with black Dutch tiles, the front roof slope has a square chimney and black glazed Dutch tiles. The internal timber load-bearing structure consists of a square. The brickwork is constructed in red brick, in which the projections of the wall anchors are visible in several places. The gutters are timber all around. The front facade has a cornice and is higher than the side facades. The front facade (W) is symmetrical, has a base in cement plaster, has six window bays and is divided by four rusticated pilasters (cement plaster) into three gable sections, each with two window bays. The flanking gable sections each have two arched T-windows, identical to those in the central part. The left side facade (N) has in the dwelling section a T-window and a panelled door with iron fittings and fanlight. The stable section still has three original arched iron stable windows. The right side facade (S) has in the stable section still three original arched iron stable windows. The original parts of the rear side (W) are on the left the trans-door and near the junction of the rear section an attached door with fanlight. The rear section is on the rear side still mostly original with in the left side wall (S) an arched iron stable window and in the gable-top two attached doors with fanlight placed one above the other. The ground floor door is flanked by an arched iron stable window. The gable-top has smooth wind vanes and a tie-beam.
