Omschrijving
ORANJERIE. In de parkaanleg gelegen rode bakstenen oranjerie (oorspronkelijk gepleisterd), gebouwd op L-vormige grondslag overkapt door een wolfdak met rood geglazuurde Hollandse dakpannen. In de kopgevel de dubbele glazen toegangsdeur met een halfrond bovenlicht en een kruisraam met roeden daarboven. De zuidgevel wordt gevormd door een aaneengesloten rij ramen zonder muurwerk daartussen. De overkragende dakrand zorgt ervoor dat de lichtinval getemperd wordt. In de noordgevel zitten drie rondboogramen met gotisch aandoende roeden verdeling. De bovendorpel en sluitsteen zijn gedecoreerd met een bloemmotief. Rechtsonder in de gevel is een steen gemetseld met het jaartal 1830, uit aantekeningen blijkt dat deze eerste steen door Adolphine van Wijck gelegd is. In 1910 is de oranjerie uitgebreid met een achterbouw van sintelsteen, in gebruik als schuur en opslagplaats. Bouwsporen wijzen erop dat toen ook de linker zijmuur opnieuw opgetrokken is. Het geheel is uitgevoerd in de Engelse cottage stijl, die aan het begin van de twintigste eeuw in zwang was. De gemetselde schoorsteen aan de zijkant is pas tijdens restauratiewerkzaamheden in 1960 gebouwd. Toen is ook het verwarmingssysteem met buizen verdwenen. De (hout)stookplaats in de linker buitenmuur is nog aanwezig. Eveneens bij de restauratie is de verdiepte, plavuizen vloer opgehoogd en betegeld met grijze stoeptegels.

ORANGERY. Red brick orangery located in the park layout (originally plastered), built on an L-shaped ground plan covered by a half-hipped roof with red glazed Dutch roof tiles. In the gable end a double glazed access door with a fanlight and a cross window with glazing bars above it. The south facade is formed by a continuous row of windows without masonry between them. The projecting roof edge ensures that the light is tempered. In the north gable three round-arched windows with Gothic-style glazing bar division. The lintel and keystone are decorated with a floral motif. In the lower right of the facade a stone is laid with the year 1830, notes indicate that this foundation stone was laid by Adolphine van Wijck. In 1910 the orangery was extended with a rear section of clinker brick, used as a shed and storage space. Building traces suggest that at that time the left side wall was also rebuilt. The whole is executed in the English cottage style, which was in vogue at the beginning of the twentieth century. The brick chimney on the side was built during restoration work in 1960. At that time the heating system with pipes also disappeared. The (wood) stove location in the left outer wall is still present. Also during the restoration the sunken, tiled floor was raised and tiled with grey floor tiles.
