Omschrijving
Houten LOODS op rechthoekig plattegrond met aanbouw, opgetrokken op roodbakstenen fundament en gedekt door een zadeldak van golfplaten met aan de noordzijde een aankapping. De wanden zijn verticaal betimmerd met over de naad een afdeklat; bakgoot op houten klossen; in de geveltoppen een houten makelaar. In de westgevel een dubbele opgeklampte schuurdeur en een klein verticaal venster. In de zuidgevel vier rondboogvensters met ijzeren roedenverdeling. De betimmering van de top van de oostgevel kraagt iets uit; in de geveltop twee zesruitsvensters met daarboven het opschrift 'Waterschap Hunsingo No. 1'. Aan de noordgevel deels halfopen houten aanbouw uit 1970.
Waardering
Houten loods (werkplaats) van het waterschap Hunsingo daterend uit omstreeks 1917 van algemeen belang:
- als voorbeeld van houten loods uit het begin van de 20ste eeuw in Groningen;

Description
Wooden SHED on rectangular ground plan with extension, built on a red-brick foundation and covered by a gabled roof of corrugated iron with a lean-to on the north side. The walls are boarded vertically with a cover batten over the joint; rain gutter on wooden brackets; in the gable tops a wooden brace. In the west facade a double clamped barn door and a small vertical window. In the south facade four segmental-arch windows with iron glazing bars. The boarding of the top of the east facade projects slightly; in the gable top two six-pane windows with above the inscription 'Waterschap Hunsingo No. 1'. On the north facade partly half-open wooden extension from 1970.
Valuation
Wooden shed (workshop) of the waterschap Hunsingo dating from circa 1917 of general importance:
- as an example of wooden shed from the beginning of the 20th century in Groningen;
- because of the high degree of integrity of the object;
- because of the functional and spatial relationship with the other components of the complex.
