Inleiding
Beeldbepalend in de kern van Weerdinge gelegen boerderij van ca. 1870. In 1975 is de zijgevel van de boerderij gewijzigd, in opdracht van R. Snijders, door H.W. Vos, architect te Weerdinge.
De bescherming betreft het hoofdvolume en de oorspronkelijke detaillering van de gevels.
Omschrijving
Boerderij van het hallehuistype, opgetrokken in baksteen met een rieten kap. In de zijgevels kleine krimpen.
De oorspronkelijke vensters van het woongedeelte zijn allen afgedekt met een zeer vlakke tudorboog onder een rollaag. Van sommige schuifvensters is het bovenlicht een uitzetvenster. In de asymmetrische voorgevel van het woonhuis, met houten schot in de geveltop en windveren, twee zesruits schuifvensters, onder de linker een liggend tweeruits kelderraam. Onder het houten schot twee tweeruits mezzaninovensters.
In de rechterzijgevel (Z) centraal een dubbele paneeldeur onder tweeruits bovenlicht, met aan weerszijden twee zesruits schuifvensters. In de eerste kleine krimp een staldeur met bovenlicht. In de kopgevel van de tweede krimp een klein venster. In de zijgevel van het stalgedeelte vijf vierruits stalvensters met segmentboog.
In de linkerzijgevel drie vierruits vensters in het woongedeelte en een deur. Op de hoek van de krimp is een nieuwe deur aangebracht (1975). In het staldeel zes stalvensters.
De bedrijfsgevel heeft een wolfeind, op de plaats van het uilebord een driehoekig venster met roedenverdeling. In de gevel centraal een inrijdeur met segmentboogvormige bovendorpel. Aan weerszijden een vierruits venster. Rechts twee, links één loopdeur. Onder het wolfeind drie liggende zesruits vensters.

Farmhouse of the hall-house type, constructed in brick with a thatched roof. In the side facades small secondary structures.
The original windows of the residential section are all covered with a very flat Tudor arch under a roll moulding. Of some sash windows the fanlight is a casement window. In the asymmetrical front facade of the dwelling house, with wooden board in the gable top and wind vanes, two six-light sash windows, below the left one a horizontal two-light cellar window. Below the wooden board two two-light mezzanine windows.
In the right side facade (S) centrally a double panelled door under two-light fanlight, with two six-light sash windows on either side. In the first small secondary structure a stable door with fanlight. In the gable end of the second secondary structure a small window. In the side facade of the stable section five four-light stable windows with segmental arch.
In the left side facade three four-light windows in the residential section and a door. On the corner of the secondary structure a new door has been added (1975). In the stable section six stable windows.
The business facade has a half-hipped end, in the place of the owl-board a triangular window with glazing bars. In the facade centrally a carriage entrance with a segmental arch shaped soffit. A four-light window on either side. On the right two, on the left one door. Below the half-hipped end three horizontal six-light windows.
