Inleiding
In streekt-eigen bouwtrant uitgevoerde STOLPBOERDERIJ van het afgeleide WestFriese type, gelegen aan de oostzijde van de Dorpsstraat op de hoek met de Esdoornlaan. De kern van de stolpboerderij is naar alle waarschijnlijkheid ouder dan 1850, doch het exterieur is uit de 19de eeuw. De achterzijde is gewijzigd, echter zonder de monumentale waarde van het object te schaden.
Omschrijving
Op een vrijwel rechthoekig grondplan gebouwde en ten dele onderkelderde stolpboerderij, onder rietgedekt schilddak met omgaande pannenrand en rechthoekige spiegel aan de zuidzijde en met de noklijn haaks op de Dorpsstraat. De spiegel heeft een uit het midden geplaatste vierkante schoorsteen in rode baksteen. Spiegel en pannenrand zijn bedekt met rode en zwarte Hollandse pannen. In het westelijk dakschild bevindt zich een kistgat, de overige schilden bevatten geen bijzonderheden. De inwendige houten draagconstructie bestaat uit een vierkant met dekbalkgebinten. Ten noorden van het vierkant bevindt zich de dars, ten oosten hiervan de koestal en ten zuiden en westen hiervan de woning. De voorzijde (W) heeft muurwerk in rode baksteen met muurankers. Het muurwerk bevat vier onregelmatig geplaatste zesruits schuifvensters. Links bevindt zich de teruggelegen darsdeur. De linkerzijde (N) heeft een wand in rabatdelen boven een plint in rode baksteen. Deze darswand heeft een opgeklampte deur met vierruits bovenlicht en twee vierruits vensters van ongelijk formaat. Links naast de deur bevindt zich muurwerk in rode baksteen met daarin een houten vierruits venster. De rechterzijde (Z) heeft een wand in rabatdelen boven een plint in rode baksteen. De wand heeft drie negenruits schuifvensters, een paneeldeur met vierruits raam en bovenlicht en een klein hooggeplaatst venster naast de paneeldeur. Het interieur van de stolpboerderij verkeert grotendeels in oorspronkelijke staat. Het woongedeelte heeft houten wanden en bedsteden en een houten schouw met een spiegelboogmotief. De darsvloer heeft een traditionele bestrating van gele klinkers.
Waardering
De in streek-eigen bouwtrant uitgevoerde stolpboerderij is van algemeen belang wegens architectuur- en cultuurhistorische waarde als grotendeels gaaf bewaard gebleven voorbeeld van traditionele landelijke bouwkunst uit de 19de eeuw.

Introduction
A STOLPBOERDERIJ (farmhouse with central roof support) executed in regional building tradition of the derivative West Frisian type, located on the east side of the Dorpsstraat at the corner with the Esdoornlaan. The core of the stolpboerderij is in all likelihood older than 1850, but the exterior dates from the 19th century. The rear side has been modified, however without damaging the monumental value of the object.
Description
A stolpboerderij built on an approximately rectangular ground plan and partially with cellar, under a reed-thatched hipped roof with surrounding tile border and rectangular gable at the south side with the ridge line perpendicular to the Dorpsstraat. The gable has a centrally-offset square chimney in red brick. Gable and tile border are covered with red and black Dutch tiles. In the western roof slope there is a hay loft opening; the remaining slopes contain no special features. The internal wooden load-bearing structure consists of a square with tie-beam trusses. North of the square is the threshing floor, east of this the cow shed and south and west of this the dwelling. The front (W) has masonry in red brick with ornamental wall anchors. The masonry contains four irregularly-placed six-pane sash windows. On the left is the recessed threshing-floor door. The left side (N) has a wall in rabat sections above a plinth in red brick. This threshing-floor wall has an attached door with four-pane fanlight and two four-pane windows of unequal size. To the left next to the door is masonry in red brick with a wooden four-pane window. The right side (S) has a wall in rabat sections above a plinth in red brick. The wall has three nine-pane sash windows, a panel door with four-pane window and fanlight and a small high-placed window next to the panel door. The interior of the stolpboerderij is largely in original condition. The residential part has wooden walls and box beds and a wooden hood with a mirror-arch motif. The threshing-floor has a traditional surface of yellow clinker bricks.
Valuation
The stolpboerderij executed in regional building tradition is of general interest on account of its architectural and cultural-historical value as a largely intact preserved example of traditional rural architecture from the 19th century.
