Inleiding
INRIJHEK gesitueerd op een brug die zich ten westen van het woonhuis Dorpsweg 159 bevindt, en daterend uit 1910.
Omschrijving
Het inrijhek bestaat uit een dubbel smeedijzeren draaihek, twee gietijzeren pijlers en twee smeedijzeren vleugels. De twee gietijzeren pijlers zijn opgebouwd uit een basement dat uitloopt in een uitstekende richel waarop een als zuil met kapiteel vormgegeven deel aansluit. Het kapiteel wordt bekroond met een granaatappel. De spiegelbeeldige vleugels, aan weerszijden van de hekpijlers, hebben de vorm van een in één punt beginnende concentrische krul. Het hek, dat zich tussen de hekpijlers bevindt, bestaat uit twee volledig spiegelbeeldige delen, die bekroond worden met pijlpuntvormige uiteinden.

DRIVE GATE situated on a bridge which is located to the west of the residential house Dorpsweg 159, and dating from 1910.
Description
The drive gate consists of a double wrought-iron hinged gate, two cast-iron pillars and two wrought-iron wings. The two cast-iron pillars are constructed from a base that terminates in a projecting cornice onto which a part shaped as a column with capital is attached. The capital is crowned with a pomegranate. The mirror-image wings, on either side of the gate pillars, have the form of a concentric whorl beginning at a single point. The gate, which is situated between the gate pillars, consists of two completely mirror-image sections which are crowned with arrow-point-shaped terminals.
Valuation
The drive gate is of general importance as a historically-functional component of the residential house-farmstead complex Dorpsweg 159 at Twisk dating from 1910.
