Omschrijving
Begraafplaats, door middel van een middenpad vanaf het toegangshek ingedeeld in twee helften. De aanleg van het oudste deel van de begraafplaats, dat links van het middenpad is gelegen, komt nog overeen met de wijze van begraven zoals die ook voordien in kerken geschiedde: de zerken liggen aaneengesloten boven de grafkelders. De latere uitbreiding, rechts van het middenpad, heeft een ruimere aanleg met dwarspaden. In de twintigste eeuw heeft de begraafplaats een bosparkachtig aanzien gekregen. Een aantal als solitairen herkenbare bomen stammen nog uit de eerste tijd van de aanleg.
Op de begraafplaats bevinden zich diverse familiegraven en grafkelders van onder meer Nering Bögel, IJssel de Schepper en Ankersmit Van de Cop.

Description
Cemetery, divided by means of a central path from the access gate into two halves. The layout of the oldest part of the cemetery, which is located to the left of the central path, still corresponds to the method of burial as it was formerly practised in churches: the gravestones lie adjoining one another above the grave vaults. The later extension, to the right of the central path, has a more spacious layout with transverse paths. In the twentieth century the cemetery has acquired a wooded park-like appearance. A number of trees recognizable as specimens date from the time of the original laying out.
On the cemetery there are various family graves and grave vaults of, among others, Nering Bögel, IJssel de Schepper and Ankersmit Van de Cop.
