Woonhuis op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken in bepleisterde baksteen over één bouwlaag met souterrain onder een met oud Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak.
In de ongelede entreegevel aan de steeg rechts de voordeur en enkele schuifvensters. In het dakschild een dakkapel met wangen onder steekkap met fronton en hijsbalk. Naast de deur een recente gevelsteen.
De nagenoeg symmetrische gevel aan de IJssel telt zeven vensterassen. In iedere as is op de hoofdverdieping een T-venster met profiellijst geplaatst onder een segmentboog. Het middenrisaliet heeft onder de steekkap met zadeldak een draairaam met tweeruits bovenlicht onder een segmentboog; beide hoekrisalieten hebben onder de steekkap met tuitgevel een draairaam onder een rondboog. Het rechter hoekrisaliet heeft twee nissen in het souterrain, het linker twee vensters. De drie risalieten hebben een palmet op de geveltop. De mee risalerende plint en waterlijst suggereren een basement. De kroonlijst risaleert eveneens mee en volgt in het middenrisaliet de daklijst van de topgevel.
Interieur. Het interieur heeft de originele indeling met verspringend niveau bij de opkamer en de keuken. Van de gang is de originele detaillering met marmeren lambrisering bewaard. Verschillende vertrekken hebben een haardpartij. De salon heeft vensterbanken waarin gezeten kan worden.

Residential house on a rectangular foundation built in plastered brickwork over one storey with basement under a gabled roof covered with old Dutch tiles.
In the unarticulatted entrance facade on the alley to the right the front door and several sash windows. In the roof slope a roof dormer with cheeks under a pitched roof with pediment and lifting beam. Next to the door a recent facade stone.
The nearly symmetrical facade facing the IJssel has seven window bays. In each bay is placed on the main storey a T-window with moulding under a segmental arch. The central projection has below the pitched roof with gabled roof a casement window with two-pane fanlight under a segmental arch; both corner projections have below the pitched roof with spout gable a casement window under a round arch. The right corner projection has two niches in the basement, the left two windows. The three projections have a palmette at the gable apex. The plinth and drip moulding which project likewise suggest a basement. The cornice also projects and in the central projection follows the roof line of the gable roof.
Interior. The interior has the original layout with offset level at the retiring room and kitchen. Of the corridor the original detailing with marble wainscoting is preserved. Various rooms have a fireplace. The drawing room has window seats in which one can sit.
