Inleiding
KOEPEL "De Boonekamp", genoemd naar erve De Bonenkamp, is in 1919 gebouwd in opdracht van Herman van Heek. Oorspronkelijk hoorde de koepel bij het landgoed De Hoge Boekel. De koepel is uitgevoerd in neo-Louis XIV stijl en is geïnspireerd op een koepel aan de Vecht. De koepel ligt op de overgang van bos- naar landbouwgrond, aan de Boonenkampweg.
Omschrijving
Gepleisterde, octogonale theekoepel op bakstenen plint met hardstenen stoep, onder met zink bedekt helmdak, bekroond met een vergulde vaas.
De entree met stoep bestaat uit een dubbele tienruits glasdeur met in het bovenlicht een rijk bewerkt snijraam, gevat in een profiellijst bekroond met schelpmotief. In de daklijst staat "Boonekamp" geschreven. De gevel recht achter de entree is blind. In de overige gevels dertigruits schuifvensters met vijftienruits bovenlichten.
In het interieur een houten lambrizering en gestucte lijsten en profielen. Op de vloer een zwart-wit marmeren vloer. In de kooflijst onder het plafond een tekst van Vondel: "die in een liefelyke streek / by het ruischen van een klare beek / zyn landhuis sticht en akkerwoning / wat is dat een gezegend koning! / Vondel".

DOME "De Boonekamp", named after the farmland De Bonenkamp, was built in 1919 on the instructions of Herman van Heek. Originally the dome belonged to the estate De Hoge Boekel. Plastered, octagonal tea dome on brick plinth with ashlar step, covered with zinc helmet roof, crowned with a gilded urn.
The entrance with step consists of a double ten-pane glazed door with a richly carved light window in the fanlight, set in a moulding crowned with shell motif. The text "Boonekamp" is written in the eaves moulding. The facade directly behind the entrance is blank. In the remaining facades thirty-pane sash windows with fifteen-pane fanlights.
In the interior wooden wall panelling and stucco mouldings and profiles. On the floor a black and white marble floor. In the soffit moulding below the ceiling a text by Vondel: "die in een liefelyke streek / by het ruischen van een klare beek / zyn landhuis sticht en akkerwoning / wat is dat een gezegend koning! / Vondel".
