Omschrijving
KOETSHUIS behorende tot de buitenplaats Groot Engelenburg. Aan de noordzijde van het voorplein als pendant van de oranjerie staat een in oorsprong 17de-eeuws koetshuis, dat in de 19de eeuw zijn neoclassicistische uiterlijk verkreeg en witgepleisterd is. Het op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken pand bestaat uit één bouwlaag onder een met Oud-Hollandse pannen gedekt schilddak. De voorgevel kent een regelmatige indeling met centraal de dubbele inrijdeur geflankeerd door drie traveeën bestaande uit een deur met bovenlicht en twee meerruitsvensters. De vensters en deuren zijn gevat in een omlijsting met Ionische pilasters en hoofdgestellen. In het dakschild zijn vijf dakkapellen met segmentvormig fronton en wangen.

Description
CARRIAGE HOUSE belonging to the estate Groot Engelenburg. On the north side of the forecourt as a pendant to the orangery stands a carriage house originally from the 17th century, which acquired its neoclassical appearance in the 19th century and is rendered white. The building, erected on a rectangular ground plan, consists of one storey under a hipped roof covered with Old Dutch tiles. The front elevation has a regular arrangement with centrally placed double carriage doors flanked by three bays consisting of a door with fanlight and two multi-paned windows. The windows and doors are set in surrounds with Ionic pilasters and entablatures. In the roof slope are five roof dormers with segmental pediments and cheek walls.
